Last week Microsoft released the details for the Xbox Live Summer update, including extra Avatar items and Games on Demand titles. Today, the latest Xbox Live update went live with even greater details given on Xbox.com, and an interesting note attached to the bottom.
"This exclusive partnership [with Netflix] offers you the ability to instantly stream movies and TV episodes from Netflix to the television via Xbox 360. Xbox 360 will be the only game console to offer this movie-watching experience, available to Xbox Live Gold members who are also Netflix unlimited plan subscribers, at no additional cost."
It's currently unknown what the exact terms are of this "exclusive partnership" between Netflix and Microsoft. Indications were that Netflix was at least contemplating the idea of extending its service to the PS3 and the Wii.
