Gameloft Balling with NBA
One of the world's most successful mobile game publisher is teaming up with the NBA to put out a simulation title and a arcade-style title, just as the NBA playoffs are heating up.

Gameloft announced today that it has signed a deal with the NBA. Under terms of this agreement, the mobile game company will make and publish two NBA titles for mobile phones. One game will be titled NBA Smash!, an arcade-style 2-on-2 street basketball game set to launch in May, with a second 5-on-5 simulation style game set to release in September 2008.
"The NBA is one of the great global sports leagues whose tremendous popularity spans from North America to Europe and Asia, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to develop NBA mobile games," said Gonzague de Vallois, senior vice president of publishing, Gameloft. "By featuring every NBA player and team, along with a spectacular gameplay, our games will deliver an authentic look and feel that will make them stand out from the competition."
