TorrentFreak today put out an article on the most pirated titles of the year. Estimates of BitTorrent sites puts Spore in the top spot, leading with 1,700,000 illegal downloads. This suggests that the unpopular DRM that came with the title may have driven consumers to pirate, a theory put forth by ECA founder Hal Halpin.
