Why We Stopped Playing GTA IV

Not everything is rosy in Liberty City. Now that the hype train slowed down, Grand Theft Auto IV has issues, and we're not talking about the high-priced hookers.

Hanging out with people blows

Rockstar created this sprawling metropolis that begs to be explored but ruined it by forcing us to chill with everyone. Taking a scenic drive, bashing someone's brains with a baseball bat and outrunning the law becomes less cool when some bozo gives us a ring and asks to go to the strip club. We can only watch those same three dances so many times, and the same goes for hearing our annoying girlfriends scream out lame dialogue while doing the horizontal mambo. To make matters worse, not meeting up with these people causes our ratings to drop, which affects our good standing. Bottom line, real life is difficult enough without having to worry about our virtual friends.

1) Whoever complains about the language and nudity of GTA needs to look on the back of the box b/c it's written right there what's in the content of the game. For those who want to 'ban' GTA, why don't you try banning every R-rated movie out there (much of which has the same violence/ nudity) and see how well that goes. 2)GTA haters need to STFU, b/c GTA 3, VC, SA and 4 all got 10 ratings... b/c the games are that damn good. If you suck at it, don't give it a low rating b/c you're a newb... Buy a damn strategy guide. And my GTA 4 has yet to freeze up; I got mine since day 1.

Maybe I just suck but I can only "easily outrun" 1 and 2 stars, 3+ I have to use Pay n' Spray which is nearly impossible in this game because cops see you enter every single time. More realistic yes, but it was so much more fun when a cop almost comes in with you and becomes baffled as to where you are. Oh, one more thing, I've never once experienced the game freezing or so much as even lagging, previous games did though. I play it on the PS3 so maybe it's just the "geniuses" who bought the XBOX 360

I grew up hearing "Computers are the way of the future." I am kind of a "tweener." I never did hear that computers will come along and everyone with not give a s___ about spelling and grammar. Yes, I do get the idea of what everyone is saying in their comments. That's really not the point. GTA is not just a game but a story, a form of hi-tech entertainment to be taken in context and to be just enjoyed. in fact it is a masterpiece. Lets just respect the English language when describing it.

dearvictoriana you are the dumbest person I've ever seen you are saying that gta is a great game but are telling the ppl that agree with you to stfu. This is what happens when you spend 10 yrs in highschool. GRADUATE ALREADY R-TARD!!!
