Hanging out with people blows
Rockstar created this sprawling metropolis that begs to be explored but ruined it by forcing us to chill with everyone. Taking a scenic drive, bashing someone's brains with a baseball bat and outrunning the law becomes less cool when some bozo gives us a ring and asks to go to the strip club. We can only watch those same three dances so many times, and the same goes for hearing our annoying girlfriends scream out lame dialogue while doing the horizontal mambo. To make matters worse, not meeting up with these people causes our ratings to drop, which affects our good standing. Bottom line, real life is difficult enough without having to worry about our virtual friends.

all GTA are the same B.S so no biggie ill still play it
I have never played any of the games from the GTA series but I have heard and seen good things about it. I haave to say that out of 10 of my friends who have this game say it is one of the best games out of the GTA series. Not once have they complained and wined about this game. I very well may go by this game and from the sounds of it will like it. But honistly, all of these comments are telling the writer to shut the hell up and not bring it up again.
Jesus, you fanboys are ridiculous. Hardly any of the negative comments towards this article warrant anything except for your stupidity. Cursing over a few insults to your favorite video game? Oh come on grow up. This is called an opinion, and let's not forget said opinion is obviously warranted. Clear evidence as to why the opinions are made are stated. It wont discourage me from buying the game, but it's definitely something that doesn't surprise me. Same old stuff in all the other titles really. Doesn't make GTAIV any less appealing though.

thatbxdisciple, it is ironic that your COMPLAINING, about people COMPLAINING. At least this articles *****ing is justified unliike yours. If it's easy for you, good for you, the fact of the matter is this review isnt meant for those dedicated to this series, it's meant for people who enjoy gaming and gives insight to GTAIV's gameplay. Much of what was said was the truth and I know tons of people who would agree. I'm not saying it's not a great game, I'm sayin there are certain things that needed more work first. I also began getting tired of the same old **** in GTAIV, and soon was lookin for somethin else to play, I get back to it every now and then but if you play too much, it gets bnoring and fast.

I have the PS3 version, no problems, beat the game, love the fact that you can keep doing missions for Little Jacob and doing hits from the payphones but I did think it wasn't long enough, that **** with the strippers is stupid, constantly having to hang with your friends did suck, and the controls were a little shakey, still loved it though and it is neck and neck with San Andreas for my fav GTA game, I like SA just because of all the **** you can do and it's a huge world you're in.
This is yet another shining example of GameDaily being total crap. Your writers should all go to at least ONE seminar on how to not be terrible, and actually have a good amount of knowledge on the subjects that they are writing about. I have a 360, game never froze. Maybe your 360 has SARS or something, I don't know. If you think the controls are unreliable, try playing Kane and Lynch. Now, an article about that game could be very hilarious if done right....but I doubt GameDaily is capable of that. The whole thing about strippers not taking their clothes off is slightly understandable....but could you imagine the amount of fire Take Two would go under if that were possible? Even MASS EFFECT got called a "sex simulator", and that couldn't have been further from the truth. Why include something in the game that isn't going to impact game play and would cause more trouble than it's worth? If you want to see boobs, remove the parental controls that your mother has on your internet and Google them.
whoever wrote this complains too much. :\ I didn't stop playing th game and if there weren't some obstacles in the game, the game would be too easy. Plus the chicks aren't real in the game >.>
