Is this just to make those losers who stay home all day and play rock band feel better about themselves? I sure hope so because anyone who can play an instrument will agree that it is much more rewarding to play a REAL guitar then a ****in video game. Yeah maybe you can get five stars on a song or whatever, but guess what, chicks don't dig that.

it pisses me off though how he tryed to say its better. yea its kool but dont EVER try to say its better then being a real Musician

i dont see what the big deal is some of my buddies and i kinda have a band, kinda dont(you kno what im talking about) but the point is anyways is that i do both and sure real instruments are sweet as ****, my guitar hurts my fingers at times where my les paul guitar hero controller doesnt haha and when it comes to the vocals on rock band- its pretty friggin close to the real thing sure rock band isnt the real thing but really the only people who should have an opinion on this is the ones who are in a succesful band and/or is a successful muscian

This whole article is bull****...just like the MGS4 "review". First you give that game less than a 9.75, and then you say Rock Band is more rewarding than a real band? Let me tell you, one of the greatest satisfactions in my life is teaching myself to play a REAL guitar. Now Rock Band's not a bad way to blow off steam (although FPS game are always better), but I'd rather be in a real band any day.

wow i took the time to read this and must include that you have never been in a band before. First off, yea its expensive to start a real band but if you make it, the rewards are FAR better than some crappy game can give you. Second, you say its easier to play? AWWW what happened little ***** couldnt sit down and learn something like the rest of us. all the time you spend on the stupid game you could be spending learning how to play an instrument. Third, I love how you talk about paparazzi and fans. you try to make a good point but you still make no sense. When a band makes music its so they can express themselves. how can you do that with premade songs on a lame ass game. The fans that you get from being a good musician will stick with you for life. oh yea and paparazzi??? Do you ever go to real shows? there is no paparazzi just real people, being real people in one of the greatest environments you can ever be in. Music is art and you cant produce are with a plastic video game. How can you try to say Rockband is better than real life bands? Rockband isnt even better than guitar hero (yes I play it but I have played real guitar for 9 years now). This is the problem with kids today, you guys think video games are gonna get you somewhere. I was in a band, we played shows and it was the best experience of my life.
