Forget about joining a real band. Playing Rock Band 2 is a lot more enjoyable. Here's why.

Fewer chances to contract diseases

Rock stars attract throngs of people itching to throw their panties at them and go back stage. That's usually followed by lots of booze and sex, which is great until somebody brings an unwanted visitor (virus, bacteria) to the party. Look, we're not saying you can't catch a sexually transited disease because of Rock Band 2, but you won't tour the country and sleep with hundreds of infected while playing it. Actually, who are we kidding? You're not going anywhere.

i think rock band sucks balls, only a ****ing ******* would waste there time getting good at rockband i mean really where is taht gona get you are you gonna go brag to your friends that your good at rockband

I play in a real band, and i play guitar hero and rock band. the difference? rock band....you can't actually Play music....Music is about creativity. Also you can't pick up chicks with rock band unless your 8 years old.. Its a great game, but nothing like a real band! No creativity! and what fun is that?!

Rockband does suck =) games are games lets face that. But its just a little bull**** to compare a game to real life. Thanks for entertaining me for this half of the morning, im out to do something constructive with my life for the day. peace

Whoever wrote this bull**** about how playing rock band 2 is better than being an actual musician is the dumbest peace of **** in the universe. How can you even compare a dumbass game like that to a career that you can be proud of. Seriously, being in an actual band vs. playing a game? There's just no comparison. Being in a band is beyond better. \m/

so then ill assume sex in grand theft auto is better than in real life, and baseball, boxing and tennis are better on the wii. rockband is a game, guitar is an instrument. you don't need to compare them. both are fun, both are different. if everyone were to play rockband, thered be no new music (witch i think sometimes wouldn't be so bad) and if rockband weren't around, oh yeah, there's guitar hero 4. lol, rockband sucks.

there is absolutely no way that rock band is better than being in a real band. i dont have rock band or guitar hero, but ive played them, and theres no way they can beat being in a real band. im a drummer in a band, and i also play guitar and piano, and theres nothing more satisfying than hearing "fans" say they enjoy your music. the only thing rock band is good for is for making lazy people feel good about themselves, while the rest of us are out there making the music that they put on rock band.
