Fewer chances to contract diseases
Rock stars attract throngs of people itching to throw their panties at them and go back stage. That's usually followed by lots of booze and sex, which is great until somebody brings an unwanted visitor (virus, bacteria) to the party. Look, we're not saying you can't catch a sexually transited disease because of Rock Band 2, but you won't tour the country and sleep with hundreds of infected while playing it. Actually, who are we kidding? You're not going anywhere.

Yeah. I love how these guys are discouraging actual work, and giving you the instant-gratification bull**** that kids these days are addicted to. i don't give a **** that you can play Enter Sandman on Expert. Get a ****ing life. You aren't cool. People think this game makes them rockstars. No. Glorifying yourself at guitar hero or rock band is like saying "Hey, I suck a picking up chicks!" or "Hey, I have no drive to ever accomplish anything in life!" ugh. this **** burns me, especially considering all the hard work and effort and years I had put into my band to get it to where it went. There is NOTHING more satisfying than playing in front of people out on the road and having them roar and clap after each song, a song that I WROTE.
rock band and other simalar games are wasting away people's life. but if u want to keep playing these and sayiing u r in a ****ing band go ahead. but it is ur falt if u spend ur life playing these ****ing games. stop being an *******
rockband and guitar hero are a stupid waste of money. learn a real instrument, do something with your life. there are is a countless number of reasons real bands are better than a stupid video game. anyone that agrees that games are better than the real thing needs to play in traffic.
people who play rock band and say they are in a band are ****ing lazy. they need to remember that u can be succesful in a real band
Rock Band is a ****ing joke........... playing on every kid's desire to be a rock-star, and thus encouraging them to NEVER go for it. god, they even had the best "rock band band" play a song onstage at Motley Crue the other ***ht. I was embarrassed. Learn how to play a real ****ing instrument. You're not a superstar because you can hit 5 buttons really fast. ugh.
Playing in a Real band is worth it, and success lasts for the rest of your life. While this Rock band game is just for fun. Nothing really meaningful, and will never be as close or better to the real thing. I'm a Drummer, and Guitarist, and I know for sure, playing the real thing is better than that crappy stuff.
I don't know. I've been playing the guitar for about 4 years or so now, and I enjoy it way more than I enjoy pressing buttons on a controller shaped like a guitar. I may not be a hit at all the video game parties and sleep overs, but put me in a coffee shop, and we'll see who's boss.

okay. this is bull****. real bands are better in virtually every way. rock band makes you sit alone in a room all day with only friends from online. real music is done with close friends and its something that cant get old. you exponentially more songs you can play in a real band(including rock band songs). you guys in a real band? do you have any musical talent? do you? i didnt ****ing think so. dont post this ****. go die in a hole *******s.
