im sorry, i absolutely loooove oblivion, and tetris, but the elder scrolls: morrowind was the best elder scrolls game ever and it was the most addictive and i'll bet anyone who plays the series would agree with me. its a shame it didnt make the list. i feel very dissapointed in this list.

I am getting so sick of being suckered into reading these articles by titles that sound interesting to read, only to be disappointed by the lack of knowledge displayed by the writer. I hereby propose a petition to have the writer of the games column on this website fired, and replaced by an actual gamer. Who's with me?

dude robert guy you should seriously do your research before you put this ist together i mean SOLITAIRE TETRIS #2?!?!! wtf is up w/ that and where is LOTRO: MOM i mean ive heard o*****uy who played 18 hrs a day for a 10 day period and where is pokemon, runescape, golden eye,FFVII dude the lit just keeps goin i can think of 20 top ten games off the top of my head that would beat that

lets see. This thing is missing pokemon, tetris shoulda beaten WOW, umm FF7 is da shet. what about .hack? that was a pretty gud game i know some1 taht cut school for 5 days jsut to play it. Overall i think game daily fails

Most of these ****ing games have been out for a year or less!!!!!! How can it possibly be some of the most addicting games of all time, if they havent been around long enough!!! WOW, The Sims, Mario, Pokemon, those games should be and should stay on this list, those games can change lives!!!!!!!

i may not agree with some of the games listed but the fact that they put WoW on the number 1 spot shows they know what theyre talking about

Wow EQ be #1? No way in hell... Specially if you are saying it brought online gaming to a whole new level... Have you ever heard of Ultima Online??? That game started the MMORPG Era, and nothing to this day can even compare to the game back in 97.

I was sadly disppointed to notice that the neither Pokemon, nor Runescape, made the list. They even dared to snub Pokemon with that little quip in the Animal Crossing section. Animal Crossing has been around only a short while, while Pokemon is over ten years old and still going strong. Also, no one ever pays attention the game Runescape. They assume it takes backseat to World of Warcraft and Everquest. However, Runescape is in the Genuisse Book of World Records for being the largest free to play MMORPG on the internet. Not because of lower quality, indeed, because of higher quality. While World of Warcraft is in the business to make money, Runescape is the sweat and tears and blood of gamers for gamers. World of Warcraft is about $15 a month right? Runescape is only $5 a month, and although the worlds are smaller, they are much more jam-packed with features and fun things to do. They only recently raised the price of membership by 15 cents American currency, the first raise in price since the company started in 2001 (I believe). That's a pretty impressive feat for any company, let alone an underdog like Runescape. Anyway, that is my opinion. I mean no disrespect to other games out there; I have dabbled a bit in World of Warcraft and Animal Crossing, but if this is a list of "top" addictive games, then the ones that belong on top, should be on top.
