Best Game Commercials, Ever
With the football segment of Super Bowl XLIII officially in the books, talk now turns to the truly important part of the game: Who won the battle for the best commercial? Beer bottlers, investment sites and other big players just dropped millions of dollars to try to grab your eyeballs for 30 seconds to a minute, using talking animals, babies, celebrity spokespeople and every trick in the book.
Perhaps, for inspiration, they should have turned to the world of video games, where companies big and small have been refining the art of the ad for decades. In honor of the mad men whose work is being so scrutinized in the wake of the Big Game, join us on a journey through the best that games commercials have had to offer ... and hide your credit card.

@Bobafet: Props for education. Something we don't see to regularly on forums these days. @flamefingaz: Give an arguement supporting your statement, and it can be countered or disproved. Regarding the 2nd amendment.

ahh what about the famous Legend of Zelda commercial where they're all dancing? that was epic! xD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3THavMxNDE
bobafet313, you are a ****ing idiot. if that whole scene with the fake guns had been real guns, then yes it would have been bad. I am certain thats what he was referring to. He was saying how he doesnt know why it got banned from tv because they weren't even real guns.
"OK, yes, real guns are bad," It's the uneducated like you (whoever wrote this article) that shoot themselves in the foot. Real guns aren't "bad", the ability to own guns is an important right given to every American. Everyone makes a big fuss about how the first amendment is so important, and it is, but it's nothing without the second amendment, which allows we the people the right to defend our first amendment.
You got this list right. Every one of these advertising gems are classic. It's one of the few times I can say 'Yes, you're correct' all-around. Still hard to pick a 'best off' but the Genisis advertising was the most star-struck one I've ever seen...
when i saw this commercial i knew there and then i wanted a 360
omg that was probably the funniest commercial for the xbox 360, i bet you if bungie wanted to use this for their Halo 3 hype up, the FCC would have let them use it
