ummmm Batman is DC, not Marvel =P.

The Assassin's Creed engine would be perfect for a new Batman game.

JUST MAKE THE GAME. I BET IT WILL BE THE BEST GAME EVER MADE FOR MARVEL COMICS AND CHARACTERS. I PLAYED ALL THE BAT MAN GAMES AND LIKED THEM ALL I BET THIS ONE WILL BE THE BEST.

I read an article about the guy who made Assassin's Creed making a Batman game. Of course, he'd make it kinda like he made Assassin's Creed. So imagine, your Batman standing on top of random Gotham City Building #82 and you dive off and snap open the "wings" and glide down to another floor of a building that happens to be a parking garage or something that you left the bat-motorcycle-thing and then you drive around Gotham City like you were playing Mid***ht Club 2! Freaking sweet right? I mean, all of Gotham being accessible on the motorcycle. And heck, why not throw in the Batplane? So maybe it wouldn't follow Dark K***ht's story line but I think the problem with superhero games are because they follow the story line. I had way more fun kicking Lizard's butt and going through Mysterio's maze thing on the last few spiderman games than I ever did doing the Hulk smash thing or doing anything on Fantastic 4.

Actually, there is going to be a Dark K***ht move. Gary Oldman recently said in an interview that he's doing voice work for the game.

Hell yeah there should be a game...just because they can think of 101 lame excuses why it should'nt play out doesn't mean it shouldn't happen. The movie was a box office smash...how dare they make excuses because they can't find people sharp enough to do the game justice....just sounds like the company as well as this post is looking for reasons to be lazy. Even if Heath Ledger is gone...there are voice overs that can impersonate it well enough to give the game it's success. And lest we forget the money from the game to the company that helps this game evolve. If it's a box office smash then it's a hit as a game. End of story.

They need to leave this alone. The problem seems to be that these so called genius creators are running out of idea's to the point that they will jump at anything regardless of how bad the idea is. I think they may need a little help in the "idea" deptartment to help stave off idea's like this one. other than that, good luck on whatever.

and also they can just make it a more broad idea instead of a dark ***ht movie game, they can have all the villlians and street thugs and a totally versatile environment

it would be a great idea for free roam and i can imagine running across rooftops and chasing down enemys and going to the manor and talkin to alfred and then go over to the cave and hop in the batmobile or jet or watever, yrogerg87 has the right idea
