i see nothing wrong with it iam not in to game but i know a lot of people who are and i see nothing wrong with it if you teach your kids right they would know that its all fake bull **** and if you dont want your kid to play it he will play it at a friends house and hide it from you so just let him play it in front of you and if you dont want them to have it then dont buy it !!! cause you buy it or rent it and take it from them they will cry and do something wores so the only game i hate it vice city now kid brake in to car because of that the crime has went up but be side that if you an adut its a cool game because you wouldnt do that see ya jason

The 'war' in this game has nothing to do with history, it's all about mowing down aliens with bullets and chainsaws as they attempt to invade your home planet. Even though this game has won a million accolades, the bloodletting rivals a slasher flick and the main characters drop the F-bomb like it's going out of style. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wow, they are NOT ALIENS! i am 14 years old and i am scientific proof that from playing violent games you will not turn into a psycho killer. i think that children under the age of 12 or younger should not play thies games. allmost every one of my friends has a nice little collection of violent video games, my friend has allmost every violent video game for the xbox 360 he is also 14 years of age like myself, he playes them every ***ht, but he dosent turn into a psycho killer like lots of people think would happen from playing violent video games, come on people stop *****ing about this there is no scientific proof that video games turn you into a killer. killing each other has been happeing as long as anyone can remember, there are many other reasons someone would go and kill other people. some examples would be problems with there family, people being mean in some way to them, a mental illness, the list goes on forever. dont put an easy answer on a BIG PROBLEM its not video games that make people kill. btw most of the kids i know who are younger then 8 years of age can bearley beat games on easy mode so they have to actually be able to play to see the violence

If i were a parent I would not worry about these games because there only games and they can't be imitated easily. these game would only boost there creativity and imagination. although i do play most of these games, don't for get about the warning label on it for a reason so you can monitor what your kids play. i am 14 years old and i have several "M" rated games from when i was about 10. a child of video games

thank god my girlfriend had an aol account because i have to comment on this. IM not even a big video game player but i have played games since i was young. They didnt ruin my life i went to college and now i'am a computer programmer. Parents need to start being parents agian and quit depending on every one else to watch what there child does( get off your fat @sses). Also if your kid is over 12 and dumb enough to do things in these games, then they probably shouldnt be living( darwin's law kill the dumb) bababoey, bababoey howard sterns p3n!s

If these games are not realistic doesn't that just teach children that war is good clean fun? Video games allow you to be whoever you want and to express yourself in ways that our soceity doesn't accept. The people writing these reviews obviously know absolutely nothing about games. Please just stop writing you're just making yourself look bad.

In my opinion, COD 4 is the game of the year. Fantastic gameplay, and about as close to the real thing as you can get in a video game. War is a nasty thing, so yes, the game is a bit nasty, but it doesn't celebrate violence. It is a tactical, realistic shooter. People, there are plenty of things you should be more worried about than you kids playing violent video games. At least if your kid is playing video games you know there not smoking crack
