25. Toe Jam and Earl (Sega Genesis)
Yes, the hip-hop aliens made the elite list -- and why shouldn't they? The way they roam around wacky Earth levels is hilarious, whether they're avoiding a nude guy or hula dancing with the local babes as they look for ship parts. If the main game doesn't grab your attention, we assure you that the Freestyle mode will, as you play virtual deejay, mixing up various sound effects like belches and horn honks into a clever mix. Relive the zany good times by downloading the game via the Wii's Virtual Console service for 800 points.

Jet Grind Radio is probably a sequal or something to Jet Set Radio Future for the Xbox. But it's still a funky futuristic graffiti game and i love being out on the streets! =3 WHERE THE **** IS FINAL FANTASY VII?! *#&$O&$%*#($*&*$*#O$&* DUMBASSES!!!
psychopatrick88, maybe it was 'cos good ol' Jim went multi-platform. Speaking of EWJ, where's Battle Arena Toshinden?! D: I want my BAT!
How can you guys forget about Earthworm Jim? That was one of the funniest damn games I ever played back when I was a kid. Lethal Enforcers was a great one too. Comix zone should've definitely been up there as well.
Hmm, I would say Sonic 2 is good, but Sonic 3 + Sonic & Knuckles takes the cake, in my opinion. I mean, to not be first is one thing, but to not even be mentioned? That's just insanity. Sonic 3 had better sound, better graphics, and Tails actually did something in this one. Plus, put it together with Sonic & Knuckles, and you can also play as Knuckles (who is, by far, one of the greatest Sonic characters, if not THE greatest). Plus, the bosses were innovative, and the bonus stages were fun AND (in the later ones) challenging. And get Crazy Taxi out of there - it's only $10 for a reason.
Crazy Taxi got second place.... Seriously? You play that game for about 20 minutes then get bored of it. It actually beat Panzer Dragoon? This is why I can't take these people seriously when it comes to their outlook on games. They always manage to through something in that makes you go 0.o I'm just waiting for the day when they say Kane & Lynch was a fun game.
Sonic the Hedgehog has always been one of my favorites! I know therse other classic gamers out there like me, so have any of you noticed that over teh years some of the classics have lost their awesomeness little by little? I mean, look at the old Sonic games for instance. Pure quality, something you could really get into. But now compare that to what theyre coming out with nowdays. It seems to me, and dont anyone get offended by this as its just my opinion, but it seems that theyre starting to really monopolize classic game titles and slapping their names on any half-assed old thing. Its depressing really, same things happening with Super Mario... I keep waiting for them to redeem theirselves, or for some Sega or Nintendo supoerhero to come and save the day with a good game that was as awesome as the classics, but it never happens.... :(
i remember all of these sega systems but i havent really played any of em in about 11 years but sonic is still KING!!!! and wasnt mortal combat a sega game, shouldnt that b #2 or did i just miss that? Oh and by the way crazy taxi, ur joking right that was garbage
