25.) Robert Kendo gets mauled (Resident Evil 2)
"Who are ya? What are ya doing here?" These are the words of Raccoon City's terrified gun store owner. After Claire Redfield wanders into his shop, the two exchange pleasantries and then, suddenly, a small group of zombies burst through the front window, knock him to the floor and eat him alive. So much for making friends.

The music itself on RE0 (when the leech monsters come at you) freaks me out! But, yes, the regenerator is scary as well...
are the people who write these on crack or something? lisa trevor was wayy scarier than anything else in the game. the first licker going by the window should should be atleast #3 also... i was 14 with 3 of my friends playing it when it came by and all of us besides one jumped lol
Ok everyones mentioning specific moments in the game, so im gonna bring up one of the most obvious....youre sitting alone in the dark playing as either leon or claire or whichever resident evil character you are, and you go through a door, and suddenly this dark slow eerie music plays as you go further down a deserted corridor....your heart beats harder not knowing whats in the blind spot of your camera view.... the music and the camera angles play a very large role psychologically to scare the **** outta you lol ...i remember when i was 9 playing resident evil 2 when it first came out, and ill never forget the music in the library of the police station lol...thats how bad it was, its so damn eerie
The original Chimeras freaked you guys out, but the much uglier, nasty, sometimes invisible ones from RE4 that actually DO throw up on you weren't scary? I still hate those things! Also the freak in 4 that explodes out of an oven-thing in a kitchen scared the crap out of me when I was running through, and the Mercenaries mi***ame-only boss in the 4th level with the giant guy with a double bladed chainsaw that can outrun everyone except Krauser, freaks me out every time I play that.
I remember the first time I watched Kenneth Sullivans tape, I thought it was hilarious. I was playing the game without a memory card with my little cousins on their Cube and had to restart the game maybe 4 times cuz I died. Grrr. Just the noises the zombie makes. It's like, " I just want to be friends" *Nom nom nom*.
What?! OMG NEMESIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN AT LEAST #3! SCREW THE DOG JUMPING THROUGH THE WINDOW! I agree with the regenerators (Iron Maidens too??) but nothing's worse then actually "DYING"! The words "You died" is psychologically damanging, especially when you're trying to get the best rating without every saving once... and then you DIED. >>" Luckily, all of the RE games I've played with cheat codes. But even with that, there are still scary scenes. And about Silent Hill - it's a different kind of fear. Resident Evil is a survival horror genre, so you're supposed to be afraid that you might die. In Silent Hill though, you're supposed to be creeped out by the storyline and grusome scenes.
You forgot the part with the giant fish in RE4, where if you stand off the end of the dock to shoot at the smaller fish to use them as herbs, the bigone swims out from under you and swallows the dock whole with you on it. That should of been the scariest moment! Because i almost crapped my pants the 1st time i saw it.
every time in re4 i get scared of those friggin regenerators in the damn labs an ive beaten the game numerous times how pathetic is that? o an runnin out of ammo is a ***** especially when a chainsaw guy ends up finding u
the regenerators or iron maidens should have won
Then again, I think actually having to play as Rebecca Chambers in Resident Evil 0 was the scariest and most uncomfortable thing I've ever done in an RE Game
