I have both a 360 and a Wii, and I love them both, for different reasons of course. The Xbox is great for online gaming, (the downside being the yearly fee of course) but the interface is great and completely demolishes the wii and its pathetic 12 digit friend codes that I am required to enter if I want to play Mario Kart or Super Smash Brothers online with friends. The Wii does not have the hardware to run games with graphics like the 360, and quite frankly, I'd rather have a fun game than one with overly impressive graphics an horrible mundane gameplay. Anyone remember Assassin's Creed? Or are you using it as a coaster for beer like me? The game had great graphics, and jumping on roofs was fairly entertaining. Combat and gameplay? Absolutely horrible after you have completed one mission. I'd much rather play Mario Galaxy any day of the week. If the Wii had a great online gameplay, awesome graphics, and abandoned family oriented games in exchange for violent shooters, as this article seems to suggest, it would just be an Xbox 360 that I wouldn't have to send out ever year to fix the red ring of death like on my actual Xbox 360. Don't get me wrong, I love shooters, especially Gears of War series, and I love the online gameplay for them, but what about when I'm actually spending time with real friends? I prefer the Wii. Anyone can pick up and play Mario Kart or Wii sports and have a great time, and who doesn't love to play Brawl with four players? If you have no real life friends, then you obviously wouldn't enjoy the REAL multiplayer fun the Wii has to offer (with real people sitting next to you.) I'd much rather own my real life friends in Brawl then play Halo online with a bunch of 8 year old kids whining "VETO VETO VETO." But if my friends aren't around, I'd prefer the synthetic online multiplayer that 360 offers. To each his own I guess, just because the Wii is "family oriented" does not mean it should be attacked by hardcore xbox fanboys for being juvenile and useless. Being a "family console" means that it can be enjoyed by many people playing at the same time (i.e. social interactions, for those Halo kids who don't get out much.) Yeah, wii-fit is dumb, and thinking you can get smarter or significantly less fat by playing video games is also foolish. It sounds like I am bashing xbox 360, but I'm not. I'm trying to make the point that xbox 360 is great for solo online multiplayer action (lets face it, the campaign modes on most of these games suck, excluding gears II which I still replay, and the co op mode is great too) but the Wii far exceeds at providing entertaining single player modes, as well as having fun games that can be picked up and played.

I wanted to vote this one low, since I figured it was as crappy as your Sony one....sadly I had to give it a high score since I almost with these points completely. I loved Nintendo back in the day....
Dude seriously...who's diz ***** that keeps *****ing about **** in games? FOR GOODNESS SAKE ITS A ****ING GAME! ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN. We imagine some of this **** like food on the sidewalk or health regenerating everyday. It's called dreaming.
A word of advice, try actually knowing what your talking about before you go around trashing stuff. The X-box 360 is no 200 dollars and the controller is 60 bucks which is 3x as much as a wii mote. Not to mention that X-box 360 games are much more expensive, ie Halo wars costs 80 bucks. Also, as far as the comments of kiddish, and horrible video games for a casual market, they come on all systems just take avatar for the 360 for example. Oh, and as far as the republishing comment, just buy the good games, no one is forcing you to buy mario party 1-8. And finally, try some research. It may keep people from hurlling insults at you.
I don't like some consoles, but you don't see me pmsing about everything i got to ***** about do you?
SEGA! PLEASE RETURN TO THE CONSOLE MARKET!
this guy doesn't know anything about Nintendo. does he play video games as much as I do... NO! he couldn't cuz he doesn't know anything about Nintendo! yes, I admit Nintendo does have a few mistakes but that doesn't mean that they are so horrible that you need to switch to another company!!!!
Nintendo does let you try most games. >.>

fyi the dsi has a 0.3 megapixel camera in the inside and a 3.0 megapixle camera on the outside XD
Very nice rant, pr0cr4stination. The "writer" of this clearly wants to just bash at the wii for reviews, which he is getting. The wii is not a hard core gaming machine, it is built to be a family entertainment center. It's ment to be the family PC almost. Why else would it come with a weather, news and social channel? Mainly the only "hardcore" gamers out there are usually males between the ages of 15 and 24. The Wii is for everyone from the 50 year old man to the 5 year old girl. People are holding it up to unjust standards.
