Throughout Super Mario World, you pick up well-hidden keys and use them to activate warp holes. These holes open up, swallow Mario and send him to another level. Finding warp zones is commonplace, but the effect is cool, so it made the list.

Hands down Mario RPG is the best mario goin. It did not get the respect it deserved, especially seeing as how they neglected to mention that Mario and Bowser first teamed up here to get bowser's tower back from booster.
My favorite Mario moment was when I was little and would wake up early in the morning just to watch The Super Mario T.V show where they had the mario cartoon mixed in sometimes with Zelda and that other cartoon where the kid gets sucked into a video game

Mario has had a long history. I must say that my all-time favorite Mario is Mario Bros 3. I'm surprise that they did not put the fact that when you find the flute you can warp to other world in Mario Bros 3. One of the things that I could never understand is what on earth happened to Princess Toadstool, and how did Peach get mushroom kingdom.

I can't believe number 16. It brings back memories of super long ago: I'd go to my cousins house and I couldn't wait to play Mario 64. And one of my favorite parts was swimming!! I love Mario 64 xD

what about finally beating wario in the 6 golden coins game for game boy?...that game was stupid fun
Realize, of course, that Mario teamed up with bowser in Super Mario RPG well before Super Paper Mario came out.
