Counting down the best Mario games of all time
Mario's appearances in over 100 games range from traditional side scrolling adventures to ones where he plays baseball, archery and tennis. Blockbusters like Super Mario Bros. 3 brought new fans, while flops like Mario is Missing missed the mark. These 25, however, represent his best work, a collection of puzzle games, 2-D romps through the Mushroom Kingdom and heated matches on the soccer field.

I adored Mario Paint when I was younger, the older games will always be the best (for me anyway.) Those were the days, sitting with my dad for hours and only breaking to eat, thank God he had a daughter like me. C:
Super Mario Bros. 3 is overrated. Super Mario World is better.
super mario bros. 3 is d best but my 2nd favorite is super mario 64 that game is so much betta den alot of dem.
this was the best top 25 games ever. agree with most of the choices. super mario brothers 3 is amazing still from this day. i played a lot of these, prolly 5-7 i havent and those are the newer wii / ds ones.
anyone else think mario kart 64 got robbed?
WHY IS THERE SO MUCH WORSHIP OVER SUPER MARIO BROS 3? I MEAN, THE GAME WAS GOOD, BUT YOU GUYS WORSHIP THE GAME AND CALL IT THE GREATESST GAME EVER! ITS NOT THAT PGREAT!
The Mario Tennis picture is from the wrong platform.
yeah, where was super paper mario? and there is no point in posting if you're complaining about a game you've never played. please, stop just stating you obviously biased, no-support arguments. 'i'm just guessing that mario galaxy sucks, and shouldn't have been there. all the mario's before are better, even though i've never played it.'
paper mario was number 23?!?! ARE YOU CRAZY?!?!
Ack! Paper Mario 1000 year door was awful compared to the first! There was waaaaay too much talking going on in the whole game. And the racing game for N64 is much better than the Supper Nintendo one...the steering is much better. Even though the your computer competitors do creep up on your pretty fast after you hit them with a shell...hmm.
