Most of today's video games are pushovers lasting a few mere hours. The following top 25, however, are the most difficult games you'll run into and not easily beaten. We dare you to play any of the following without cursing, throwing controllers or kicking chairs.

how in the world is Mushihimesama Futari not number one on this list?! If your not familiar just do a youtube search for "hardest boss battle ever". Its at least 20x harder than playing both players on ikaruga at the same time and r-type you've got to be kidding me thats mere childs play in comparison. Furthermore portal was easy as hell even the challenging stages weren't that hard.

Ninja Gaiden wasn't hard, it was just that they threw things at you that you didn't expect. And Portal was not that hard for me... It's one of the best games I have ever played.\ MEGA MAN 9 BUGS ME... ALOT... The cake IS a lie!

Ninja Gaiden II wasn't hard, it was more of a cluster-**** of activity. At least the other games were actually fun or enjoyable, at least.

I dunno. I think you should have put an entry in for Every Infocom Game Ever Made. Even the people who finished them will be more than happy to tell you that they were insanely difficult.

I'm glad that Ninja Garden Black is toughest game of all time. First time I was playing it on Normal, I was so pathetic they put me in Ninja Dog mode. I worked my way up to Hard mode. Need to go Master Ninja. and the missions are brutal!

Wheres the Original NES Final Fantasy ... or better yet DIABLO 2!... Come on... who has ever MADE it to Hell diff on singleplayer , let alone BEAT it!
