Most of today's video games are pushovers lasting a few mere hours. The following top 25, however, are the most difficult games you'll run into and not easily beaten. We dare you to play any of the following without cursing, throwing controllers or kicking chairs.

No game will ever be harder than Toy Story for the Super Nintendo. Like two levels in it becomes so unbelievably hard...I still get pissed off at that game to this day lol

The advanced versions of Portal are mind bending and ridiculous.. sure it was easy enough to play through the game, but try tweaking the settings a little bit.

rofl portal is easy for about everyone i know, but ninja gaiden deserves to be there.....i almost threw my xbox out the window but my cousin held me back...

They missed some REALLY HARD games. The Metal Gear Series has to be one of the hardest series I have EVER played! Panzer Dragoon is also a F'ing pain! Last but certainly NOT least, GRAN TURISMO! When you play it on Normal, it's all peachy, but turn off all assists and ramp up the difficulty and NO ONE will beat it. If you do then you need to get a life!

Unlimited Saga wasn't on the list? are you freaking kidding me? It has the hardest final boss of any game I have played by far. I doubt there's more than a handful of people in the world that could beat it on their first try without using gameguides or faqs.

reeeeely corny but beating "blades of steel"(c)1988.NES, is a tough one to do; to WIN the "cup" (on expert?) or playoff setting, is extremely difficult. The way i did it - was scrap like heck, get one goal, then stratigically?(sp) place my player behind the net, causing a gliche to have the opposing player continuously(?sp) run a loop by interferring with the goalie; had to set this up each period... after I saw the actual ending , i tried to play and win / could not do it. other games, the GREAT PUMA in NES/pro wrestling and . . . ugh! just forgot it, but others include: double dragon (1989 version) and for some reason, Drakkar(?sp) for the NES/circa 1991 was difficult.
