24. Virtua Racing (Sega)

The first (and only) game to take advantage of Sega's SVP chip technology, Virtua Racing recreated the arcade racing experience in full, right down to the dynamic camera perspectives and the tight controls. We even got a kick out of the announcer, who notifies us when we get a "time bonuh." Sadly, the $100 price tag initially scared gamers away -- although the $1 to $2 it sells for now is definitely worth it.
