25. Zero Wing (Toaplan)

Zero Wing is a controversial choice, and we put on this list for two reasons. First, it's a very good shooter, complete with challenging levels and the ability to suck up enemies as shielding. Second, it has the absolutely worst English translation ever. It's not often a game tells you that "someone set us up the bomb" and "all your base are belong to us."
