Nintendo's purple lunch box served up a stack of great games (which are all backwards compatible on Wii). Here's our list for the top 25 games you should enjoy (or enjoy again).

25.) Alien Hominid

Classic 2-D shooting lives on with Alien Hominid, a game inspired by Konami's Contra franchise. As a cute little alien, you invade earth and cause as much death as possible. Standing in your way are there pesky FBI agents that'll stop at nothing to thwart your plans for world domination. It sound cute but Alien Hominid is exceptionally difficult, and it's not uncommon to die several times within seconds.

That RE4 screenshot is from the wii version not the gamecube version. Its easy to tell from the lack of laser sight and the aiming cursor.

pikmin 2 was a great game. But they left out a lot of games that should have been on there.

did any1 knw that the F-zero was made by both Nintendo and Sega? I dont have the game but...wth? I thought Nintendo and Sega like...hate each other. Did i miss something?

ok i think super smash bros melee should be first nd paper mario: thousand year doorshud be in the top 10. Super mario sunshine shud be in the top 5 because it 1 game off the year when it came out in 2002 or 2003 dont remember

Okat listen mario sunshine should have been like in the last 5! People LOVED SUNSHINE! Okay! Paper mario the thousand year door should have been like in the last 10 and Super mario Strikers. I mean i got all the mario games for the gamecube Mario party 4,5,6, and 7. mario power tennis, mario golf toadstool toyr, sunshine. luigi's mansion. DDR mario mix, Mario Baseball paper mario, Mario strikers, melee and i beat every single one of them! Listen all of these mario games should have made the list especially one of the mario parties!

bottom line it comes down to those who write the articles....sticking up for them just gives them more power to stay ignorant to what a good game is....

I don't necessarily agree completely with that. Game Daily is a pole, and people all over the world vote for the games. We're just a few of the billions of people who vote for the most impressive games.

i completely agree with alhawki....the writers for game daily suck at life....i mean come on my little brother could write better video game articles....and he's 10....in fact as of right now im declaring a boycott of game daily by all true gamers....if you read this and your a gamer leave the site now...its just a waste of your time....for one ssx has never been a good game...and if you think it is drop the controller....and go beat your head into a wall for a couple hours....don't even get me started on pikmin either...and metal arms is something you give your retarded cousin after he breaks your gameboy....are the writers here really deaf dumb and blind....i may have just lost faith in all of humanity....so here's hoping you read this comment and not their articles
