Crabblesnitch is the kind of principal we love to hate. He runs Bullworth Academy like a boot camp. So there's no way a snot-nosed kid like Jimmy can put him in his place. Or is there? You'll have to play to find out.

Sephiroth is not evil he is just trying to make his planet a greener place in his own special way. Shinra destroyed it and he is trying to make people see that they need to be in a better place. Plus in Advent Children it is kinda hard to take a bad guy seriously when all he is talking about is his mother.

Telling people Atlas is actually a bad guy is a big enough spoiler in itself. For shame, Game Daily. And why is shredder even on this list, let alone so high up? TMNT wasn't the only comic book made into a video game with an evil mastermind, that much I'm certain of.
lunaticlace is right. most of these "villians" are so cheesy.
Some of these guys aren't even masterminds, theyre just powerful villians. I wouldn't call kidnapping a defenseless princess then losing her in 5 minutes a master plan. I would have liked to have seen Darth Malak a little bit higher on this list. Also Darth Traya, the greatest mastermind in KOTOR we've seen didn't even make the list. Malak may have turned some people against you but Traya manipulated you for the entire game.

Do Sephiroth and Bowser even remotely qualify for a "mastermind" title? Sure, GREAT villains, but really? (I'm not even sure if I would consider Bowser "evil".) The King of the Cosmos was fun to see, but really? He's just a self absorbed, lazy nitwit. People have already said Kefka and Wesker (to which I wholeheartedly agree), but what about Arkham from Devil May Cry? Seymour from Final Fantasy X? Ansem from Kingdom Hearts? They're all far more calculating and manipulating *******s than most of the characters on this list.
