Top 25 Evil Masterminds of All Time

25. Dr. Crabblesnitch (Bully/Rockstar Games)

Crabblesnitch is the kind of principal we love to hate. He runs Bullworth Academy like a boot camp. So there's no way a snot-nosed kid like Jimmy can put him in his place. Or is there? You'll have to play to find out.

Sephiroth? Honestly, what the hell does he even wind up accomplishing? For example: Kuja destroys an entire planet (Terra) Kefka took over/destroyed his own planet and nearly became a god (of magic). Emperor Palamecia died, but was able to bring himself back (albeit two of him)as the rulers of heaven and Hell. Sephiroth? Wiped out a village, stabbed a chick (who was originally the staff maiden anyway) and summoned a spell that was defeated by said dead chick's wish. If anything, he's probably the most low-tier of the FF villain besides Ex-Death.

To Thunderstruck: Kefka was from FFIII/VI, not 4. and I agree. He slaughtered a whole kingdom minus TWO people for the lulz, killed hundreds of Espers and turned them into Magicite, killed General Leo, backstabbed Emperor Gestahl, and practically destroyed the world. He then torched Mobliz for daring to even speak his name in a negative light, as well as torching a mansion in Tzen for the same thing. He actually succeeded in his goal, if only for a year, whereas Sephiroth was slated for failure. A meteor that big is going to do more than cause a wound to the planet. Let's just say the fact that there would be no planet left to rule over means that he failed. He just happened to die before he could see his plan fail miserably.

Where in the name of everything holy are Kefka, Albedo, and Luca Blight??? Not only do they deserve to be on this list, they deserve to be the top 3. I don't care what order they are in, but they should at least be the top 3. They make Sephiroth, Dr. Robotnik, and Dr. Wily look like friggin' SAINTS!!! And on that note, I'm no fanboy of Sephiroth; I don't even like him that much, but he should AT LEAST beat out Dr. Robotnik and Dr. Wily on any REAL list of most evil villains. I doubt that Dr. Robotnik and Dr. Wily did anything more evil than summoning a gigantic meteor that almost destroyed the planet. This list sucks; I'm sorry, but it sucks. There's just no way for me to sugarcoat it.

Typhon: Jenova didn't take over Sephiroth. Remember the flashback with Tifa where Seph finds out that he was mutated like the rest of the soldiers? Remember how he spent weeks down in the basement of Niblihim (Been a long time I probably spelled that wrong)? While he was down there he was researching the ancients and ultimately devised his own plan to tap the lifestream and destroy the planet. Now I have to play this game again...

The fact that Kefka Palazzo is not on this list shows that the author has no knowledge of actual masterminds.

Sephiroth does not belong on this list. At all. He wasn't a mastermind, he was a soldier. JENOVA was the mastermind who took control of Sephiroth, Cloud and just about everyone else the creature came into contact with that it didn't kill. Also, this list is... well, pretty par for the course on this site. Some big names, a marginally controversial number 1 pick, and a few obscure choices mingled in to mix up the list. About what I'd expect from a horribly commercial gaming site.

Why do you have a picture of Sander Cohen when you're talking about Atlas from Bioshock? There's no Atlas anywhere in that picture. C'mon.
