10. The Guy Game
Aside from the obvious "no duh" title, The Guy Game captures the privilege of having man parts, as we gather (preferably in a college dorm room), drink ourselves into oblivion and play stupid trivia games, all in the hopes of seeing a girl's breasts.

Guess I'm a man trapped in a girl's body. Everybody knows boobies and violence are fun. Omg especially listening to some SebastiAn and Justice. Stress auto remix for the ****ing win. Any girl who hasn't done this ****.. christ, you haven't lived.
I just don't see why so many girls are so offended by this article. On the aim headlines, there are often articles written by women generalizing men and making sexist comments, and you don't see legions of guys going there and complaining. Just realize that it's a generalization, and doesn't mean that all men or all women are that way. This is nothing to get extremely angry about. I don't see why some girls on here would try to say that they're manly because I don't think many guys would want to say they're girly. The only thing this article proves is that most people are stupid, and are so uptight that they can't take a little joke. I also find it laughable how so many people on here are trying to brag about all the gore they've seen or how violent and "tough" they are. Violence isn't ever a good thing in real life, and it saddens me that some of you people can't seem to realize that. I'm not someone who'd go around beating up people or wanting to kill people in wars; I just protect people and myself when necessary. This article is just another example of the moral decay of America.
I argued against video games contributing to societal violence. Starting in the early 1990's, violent crime rates across America have, on average, been decreasing at a steady rate, just as video game sales and usage have steadily risen. I've taken psychology classes, and so I realize that children exposed to violence tend to act more violently, but the decrease in violent crimes and the increase in video game sales suggests that video games are not influencing children negatively in terns of violent tendencies.
To go into the psychology of the affects of videogame on our behavior would involve going into the establishment of thought preferences caused by outside stimuli within the human brain: i.e. if one were to be raised around violence from the age of 1-12, they would be more inclined to acting violently because, within their subconscious, they would hold these "images"... that is but a summary that is less than adequate for the space provided. Regarding the games listed, I think a simple "videogames that tend to be more violent satiate the male's need to feel dominant by being physically aggressive and pleasing that aspect of his ego" would have more than sufficed. Speaking on behalf of female gamers, I feel that it is a faux-pas to limit these games to strictly "male-games" as there is probably a demography, albeit small, consisting of females for some of these games. I suppose I can't speak on behalf of women, being of the male part of the species, however I do not find it far from plausible that my assertion would remain valid.
Psht, girls who don't play video games are prissy losers. VGFTW! -Hillary
Shadowdark, where do you live in Oregon? I'm from Eugene, and I haven't met any around here. I have a sibling that knows of a few in Portland, but down here there aren't many. I hope you didn't argue in favor of video games causing violence, because that'd be absolutely absurd, as the world was much more violent before video games existed. Anyway, saying a lot of females play games like this is like saying a lot of guys wear pink and do ballet. I'm sure there are a few hetero males that do that, but not very many.
I'm a girl and I play video ALL the time! so i dont know what all of u are talkin about!?! and i am not a nerd so...
I do not live in California (used to 10 years ago, but now I'm in Oregon), and I've taken an AP Statistics class, so, yes, I do know what I'm talking about. I did a 50 page write-up on media violence and its influence on violent crime rates in America, and a large part of that was statistical data on video-game usage. Granted, that was four years ago so the data may be old, but believe me, there are plenty of female games. And while I do agree with you though that they are geared more towards casual games, I don't think they play casually with as high a prevalence as you are suggesting.
