10. Kirby's Avalanche (Super Nintendo)
Like Sega's Puyo Puyo series, Kirby's Avalanche challenges you to connect four or more of the same colored blobs to make them disappear. Sure, it plays similar to other puzzle games, but if we had to choose, we'd go with the version that has Kirby's smiling mug. Check it out on the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console.

WOW.... Kirby's Avalanche but no Kirby's Dreamland 3? NO KIRBY'S DREAMLAND 3? ****..
Can't seem to edit, so. P.S., I do kind of like how you kept a certain plot twist for one of the games secret. That's why I rate it high, although I'm probably just biased for the character in question.
Personally, I'd rearrange the list (put Crystal Shards and Kirby's Adventure a little higher). And maybe add Squeak Squad because its plot is great ("Your cake has been stolen. Go on a rampage and kick the butts of all the wrong people while inadvertedly saving the world in the process. Receive cake."), since I'd keep Kirby's Avalanche just because of what it did when it gave him speech (my gosh, what did they do to him.). That said, I'm new to the Kirby games, so I haven't had a chance to play much -- most of my games are either on the newer gens or on the VC.
GameDaily, not only do your articles suck, you re-use them? Wow. that's a new low.
Hardcore Kirby fan. Highly disappointed with this list. Most Kirby fans agree that KSS is the best game. Sure Canvas Curse is innovative and really utilizes the touch screen in an interesting way but I hardly think that makes it the best game. KSS might have borrowed platforming elements from the various games released around it's time but the way it's presented and served to players is unique. The game is wonderfully universal and posseses fantastic controls and a power system that all later Kirby game sadly lacks. The game is duo layered... serving as a great gateway game for beginners to experience the great spectrum of plaforming forumlas (exploration, collecting, or your classic linear game). However the game is wonderfully designed with the experienced at heart as well. The great controls allow familiar players to become creative with their gameplay and allows for them to challenge themselves. A veteran player is able to do power runs in the Arena modes which allow for greater depth and mastery of the powers. The game almost jumps genres in this instance by becoming a platformer that provides veriety to an almost solo fighting game challenge. Not to there is so much from this game that inspired the Smash Brothers Series gameplay. KSS is defintely number 1 for fans. Some of these choices for this countdown are particularly questionable... (WTF, Kirby ***htmare in Dreamland and Kirby's Adventure? The Metak***ht thing is neat... BUT REALLY....) Also, powers are hardly as fun to use in Canvas Curse as they are in all the other Kirby games... That's quite bothersome.
I really don't think it was possible to screw this list up. I assumed tilt 'n' tumble would be on it, though I never played it. Kirby Air Ride does deserve to be on it, but oh well. How many bad Kirby games are there anyway?
Kirby's Air Ride was missing... That was BULL****Z!!!!!!111!!!!!1!!!!!!! Just kiddin. Good list, but KAR should've been up there. : )
Wow kirby air ride wasn't even on the list? and Canvas curse was #1.. this lists are always fail.. Kirby Superstar should be #1 with Air ride as a very close second..
kirby super star was the best.....and i love that they remade it for ds!
YEA KIRBY RULEZ!
