10. Steel Battalion Controller (Xbox)
True, it may only work with one game – two if you count the now-defunct online counterpart Line of Contact – but the functionality of the Steel Battalion controller is unbelievable. It comes in a huge box and then folds out as a big dual-stick unit with dozens of buttons and a pair of foot pedals. It even comes with an "eject" button, in case you're not feeling confident in your robot's stability. If you still have an Xbox and $200, invest in this immediately – even if you need to set up a table in front of your television.

the sony controller is the most symmetrical controller on the list, so why isnt it first? because gamedaily has the worst staff. bad enough to include controllers that no one uses.
OOPS! MY BAD! on my first comment I screwed up! I though the Logitech controller was number 9 instead of 2. Srry my bad.
what about the handhelds why does it only have consoles cause handhelds have buttons and screens all in one handy litte package especially the ds the touch screen is very cool and yea i agree the wii remote should have been on there its one of the best ever other than snes controller too and so should the nes controller its an mecca of the golden days of gaming its even a fashion statement i mean come on people get them tattoed on themselves for cripes sakes its just so retro the 360 should not have been no one first of all dont call the globe "the x button cause theres already an x button you dont need two of the same button on one controller but as for my overall fave probbably the snes controller but theres one thing i dont understand why are the buttons on the one they showed here were different colors...red green yellow whatnot mine are just gray i want a spiffy conroller like that one
Wow.. The wii remote should have been in there. The super nintendo should have been out. and The Logitech racing controller thing should have been moved up to like 4 or 3. We're these guys drunk when making this?
Even though I shouldn't be posting here, because I actually have somewhat good grammar, I wanted to point out that Guitar Hero licensed the Gibson brand, and Rock Band licensed the Fender brand. So, GH isn't going to be coming out with a "enhanced Stratocaster" anytime soon. Other than that, I totally agree that the 360 controller is the most practical and well-designed of all these 10; though it's semi-rare that I would agree with a gamedaily article.
to furotica2 if u cant reach the Z button ur hands must be really small cus im 5`5 and can push it with ease! and u noe wat they say about men with small hands! ;) lol. further more i loved that remote one of the best remotes in my opinion perfect for games!
