and how many of you are first generation gamers?

Ehh, I dunno. I've always thought the GameCube's controller was more comfortable than the 360's, but then again I don't have a lot of experience witht he 360.

OMG! i love the XBX 360 controller! its the best. so easy, so fun, i get aroused just by talking about it. haha. jk. i'm not that creepy. but yeah its like the best i think. i can't get used to the PS3 controller. which is just like the PS2 controller. think of something new SONY! :P well the guy that commented above me is a sore loser. and NO the xbx controller doesn't slip out of your fingers and its not big @ all? what are you smoking?! and halo isn't the only thing xbx has. they have a bunch more if you knew your stuff.

First off im a Sony fan boy and ill be first to admit they are falling apart, i own a 360 over a ps3, it wins hands down do to price and having the same games that look better on the 360. how ever the playstation controller by far is the best for me it fits my hands personally, with any controller ive had to get the super sized version because i have huge hands. whas shocking is the dream cast controller isnt on here which is where xbox got its ideas from. the N64 controller and game cube controllers are God awful and unfunctional, when it comes down to the gun the dream cast had the ultimate gun, i bet you cant even name it

the 360 controller's menu button is far too close the other actual buttons used for play. The xbox controllers are too thick and ungainly. The NES advantage was horrible--i'll never understand the appeal of making buttons more difficult to hit with any sensitivity. But then, I'll never understand why joysticks are preferable to D-pads when a simple directional input is necessary. Come to think of it, the Wii controllers are god awful, as is the Gamecubes. The only reason I use the god awful Gamecube controller is because Smash Bros,. is awful to play with the Wii controllers.

While I agree that the 360 controller is good, I just don't see it as the best. Some things that could replace it at number one is the N64 controller, the Dual Shock 2 I thought was better than they had placed it, and the Ace Edge could have hit number 1 as well.

okay u know what?! xbox360 controller is best becasue u dont get cramps in your hand(cough cough ps3/ps2) the only reason ur hand slips,mattrw1988, is because ur too into it and u cant have a fun time and all u do is go"omg omfg i gotta win this i gotta win this to show im good then everyone else!" ur too into it. what? ur pissing ur pants over somthing thats sopposed to be fun? thats ***. and also,ps3/ps2 cramps ur hand like ****! i cant play ps2 for 1 hour without mi hand turning to crap. and 360 controller has a very nice feel. nice to control and handle! and also, there are so many good games for 360! first off, gears of war.(by the way haze got crappy ratings. it sucks) and halo 3, and mortal combat, and CoD4 and condemned 2 bloodshot, and shadow run and dead silence, and last but definetly not least, assasins creed(the ones that are for both are better for 360 cuz' it6 has betta controls.) oh and so many more!

Though a *tad* esoteric, I was hoping to see either the MS Sidewinder 3dPro or Logitech Wingman Extreme. Those were FANTASTIC joysticks for the Descent series and Forsaken (which were AMAZING FPS games - hovering/flying instead of walking like UT/quake). The twist handle was practically a requirement if you wanted to be competitive online :P

Hold on, hold. There's defnitely a very important piece of history missing here. How can the Nintendo 64 controller not make the top 10. It should probably be first. But it definitely deserves a Top 10 spot.
