10. Steel Battalion Controller (Xbox)
True, it may only work with one game – two if you count the now-defunct online counterpart Line of Contact – but the functionality of the Steel Battalion controller is unbelievable. It comes in a huge box and then folds out as a big dual-stick unit with dozens of buttons and a pair of foot pedals. It even comes with an "eject" button, in case you're not feeling confident in your robot's stability. If you still have an Xbox and $200, invest in this immediately – even if you need to set up a table in front of your television.

i would have to agree thaqt the xbox 360 is the best. i went from playing ps2 all the time to playing my xbox 360 most of the time after i got it. the controler is very confortable and easy to use once you get thew hang of it.
wtf dreamcast anyone
the n64 controller was awful it tried to do too much in one controller its not a functional controller
i agree with n3cr0n0miv. the nintendo 64 beats most controllers up there, ESPECIALLY the x-box controller... just kidding. but that car controller thing didnt look very cool. it just looked like a car.
Wow.. no N64 controller? It's definitely one of the best in controller history. It outranks the PS2 controller as far as I'm concerned.
So a mech controller, a gun, a guitar, and a racing wheel make the 10 best controllers of all time. Yet the N64 controller isn't even on the list? Wow.
Also as someone who has owned a PS2 and and Xbox360 and who logs just as much time on my roommates PS3 as I do on my 360 I have to say that the dualshock controller has a far superior design. Microsoft made an improvement and an ergonomic design but forgot to remove the bulk. Sony did both...
