9. The Death and Return of Superman

Although the fighting action isn't as good as most of Konami's arcade efforts, there's no question that the tone of Acclaim's Death and Return of Superman is right on track with the comic book. You play through the game as four types of Superman, on the verge of death and through rebirth, as he pounds away at enemies with his super-powers. Hey, we'd rather have five minutes with this game than a whole day of Superman 64.
