Xbox 360: Gears of War 2
Gears of War 2 feels like an action-packed blockbuster film. Its gripping single player campaign continues mankind's epic struggle against the Locust Horde, a race of homicidal aliens hell bent on sinking Jacinto, the last great human city on the planet Sera. As one-man wrecking crew Marcus Fenix, we shredded our enemies with 17 weapons, including the trusty Lancer Assault Rifle, the Scorcher Flamethrower and an excellent Mulcher chain gun. Exciting new features, such as Chainsaw Duels and the ability to use bad guys as Meat Shields, intensify combat, while epic cut scenes and a thunderous soundtrack added to the cinematic experience. This enthusiasm carried over to the game's online multiplayer modes, where we slaughtered players in bloody five-on-five deathmatches and other game types across 15 maps (10 new locations and five from the previous Gears). We're also in love with Horde, a new mode where a five-person squad attempts to outlast 50 waves of increasingly difficult creatures.

aww! Buffdaily247 you made the list?! You work for this? lol, why didnt you add The Sims 3 to a most anticipated 09 games!!! I mean it is the best selling PC game of all time, and might be the best selling game of all time!! You never know! But how do you guys choose which games should go on that list, a survey or something?!!?!!?
Hey hey hey. Wait a minute here. Don't count Nintendo out just yet guys. They're putting out top notch games for all gamers. Let's see............umm................wait.......but.......... Nintendo you say? I don't know of this Nintendo you speak of. ('-') Well on another note. I'm surprised "Prince of Persia" isn't on this list. Speaking of that game. Does he have 2 separate release dates? One for PS3 and another for the XBOX360? Because I thought it came out Dec. 4th, but now I see that it came out for the Dec. 2, at least for the PS3. I thought it was weird to be coming out on Dec. 4th though on a Thursday when they're usually released on Tuesdays. I don't know. I can see why "Mirror's Edge" didn't make the list though unfortunately enough. *Sigh*
Well, at least Nintendo can do something right...oh wait, Brawl's been out since before E3 2008.
That's cause there isn't. Nintendo decided that Wii Music(which sucks) and the new Animal Crossing game would be enough to tide over the holiday, and also forgot to tell the third parties to try to make something both imaginative AND playable, thus resulting in disappointing titles like Mushroom Men. It's no wonder so many gamers have the Wii at the top of their "things I'm ignoring while I play all the awesome holiday games" list. Thanks for ****ing over hardcore gamers AGAIN, Nintendo. Have fun when your 35 million idiot casual "fans" forget about gaming altogether and you fold after a few more unsuccessful consoles.

We definitely made a 2009 list. I don't think The Sims 3 made it. Deep down though, we know it belongs! :)
Wheres Spore?!?!?!!! And you gys should make a list of like the 20 most anticipated games of 09!! :D I hope if you make that list, The Sims 3 will be on there!! :D
