Personally, I know that that PlayStation3 is the best console compared to the Wii and Xbox360. For example, The PlayStation3 as a CPU known as the Cell Broadband Engine It has 8 cores that run at 3.2GHz each. 6 are used for gaming, 1 is used for Security purposes, and the 8th....well it isnt used yet. The Xbox360 uses a Triple Core CPU thats similar to the Computer CPU. They run at 3.2GHz each, unfortunately for Xbox360, they only have 3 cores, and Ps3 has 7. That means that the Ps3 is much more powerful (2x) that your precious Xbox360. The Graphics processing Unit for the Ps3 is known as the Reality Synthesizer which processes at 550 MHz. It has 256mb of RAM that runs are 1.3GHz, by the way, the RAM is used for the Graphics Processing Unit. The Xbox360 uses a Graphics Processing Unit known as Xeno's. This GPU for XBox360 runes at 500MHz, has 512mb of RAM, (BUT IT IS SHARED WITH THE CPU SO YOU WILL NEVER HAVE THE FULL RAM) and the RAM runs at 800MHz for the ENTIRE system. So there again, PS3 wins. As for the Disks, the PS3 uses a format called Blu-Ray. Blu-Ray disks can hold 50GB of Memory on one disk. It also reads alot faster than the Standard Xbox360 disks. Xbox360 uses DVD-ROM, which only has 15 GB of memory. This means that games will have to be made smaller due to the limit in memory that can be held on the Xbox360's DVD-ROM. PS3 wins. As for the Feautures the Ps3 can have 7 WIRELESS Controllers, and Xbox360 has only 4. For the Ps3, a 15 minute charge lasts 30 hours. For the Xbox360, you need AA Batteries, which are heavy and Expensive. The wireless controller Range for the Ps3 is 75 feet, but the Xbox360 is only 30 feet. The Ps3 has Six-Axis technology, (all though people don't like it, you can simply turn it off in the options menu) The Xbox360 has no special Controller Feautures. The Ps3 has 6 or 7 USB ports, the Xbox360 only has 2. The Ps3 has All Camera Memory Ports, the Xbox360 has Nothing! Ps3 has free Internet and Free online play, the Xbox360 charges you a $60 USD Annual Fee. For Ps3, If you want to watch a Blu-Ray movie in Higher Definition, well it's free. For Xbox360, if you want to watch a higher Definition Movie, well be ready to fork up an Additional $200 (Plus Tax) for an HD-DVD External Player. Ps3, is WiFi Readt, for the Xbox360 the WiFi Adapter $100. For the ps3, it is a 1080P HD Output, the 360 has 720P HD output (Allthough, they may have updated it since I last checked) For the Ps3, the controllers are Ligh and very Erogonomic, the Xbox360 controller is still a bit on the Bulky side, heavy and Dense. The Ps3 is Backwards Compatable (So you can play Ps2 and PS games) The Xbox360 the backwards Compatability is limited. The Ps3 has a Silent Fan, the Xbox360 has a Loud Fan. The Ps3 does NOT have issues with OverHeating, the Xbox360 Does. The ps3 has an Internal Power Supply, meanwhile the Xbox360 has a VERY BULKY EXTERNAL Power Supply, (Literally the size of a brick) I don't know why people still argue over how the Xbox360 is better.

the wii is one of the better consoles i dont have the ps3 or the 360 but the wii kepps u in shape. even though it dosent have the best graphics i think its more about how fun u have with it and how much u play it. for me its the wii!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Out of all the systems i have, i think that the PS3 is the best system but not by far. The PS3 has many features and i dont know why people doubt it. It has many ports and has FREE ONLINE gaming. There is also the Playstation store where there are add-ons, patches, downloads, and other great stuff. The PS3 has some of the best games on the market. Although limited, i suggest waiting untill 2008 because that is when all of the PS3's features will be revealed. The wireless controller is absolutely faboluous because it is light and it has sixaxis(a sensitive movement gadget inside the controller)"similar to the wii remote". The Blu-Ray player is so great that even my language arts teacher is going to buy a PS3. You can also play PS2 and PS1 games on it too. Also yu dont have to buy acceries. Online gamers will probably want a headset though. Overall i had no problems with this system and I HIGHLY RECOMEND IT. I suggest getting the 80 gb because yu get the most features. I give it 9.7 stars. The XBOX 360 is a great system ask anyone. It has great online play( better than the PS3) but yu have to pay. The 360 has super games and many people have it. I had many problems with it though. My 360 had overheated in the summer and i still dont have it fixed. YU DONT HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER 360. Just go to XBOX360. com and send it to them and they will FIX IT FOR FREE. The wireless controller i have noticed is quite heavy. Also yu have to buy many accerories with it that can cost bundles of dollars. I suggest getting the elite or getting a new intercooler. Overall the 360 is a great system and I give it 9.6 stars. The Wii, I think is one of the most revolutionary systems yet. Its great for friends and family but after a while I think it gets ordinary. The only features i have been looking for is Brawl and the guns that go with resident evil. ONLINE GAMERS do not look at the Wii as an online asset. It has few online shooters and few online options. The Wii should focus more on online play because they have mastered fun gameplay. The Wii should also look at their graphics. I am disappointed that their graphics havent improved from Gamecube to Wii. I have also heard about controller battery life about how you need to change the batteries after a week or 2.Yu can also play gamecube games on it. Overall I give it 9.3 stars.

Although not all versions of the PS3 are ps2 compatable. and the xbox does have controller features. My massive biceps say that the Wii is amazing. When I'm tired from all my working out *flex* I grab the Wii remote and enjoy some Gamecube games, or I just download them. I got the XBox 360. It's very pretty and all, but I still like the Wii more. And PS3? I have a PS2 and an XBox 360. Why the hell would I need a PS3 when Square Enix is still making games for the PS2? Rumors are floating about saying Square Enix will betray Sony and start producing for the XBox 360 instead. I mean, look at Final Fantasy III. It was exclusively for the DS.... If you love your Playstation 3's so much, go ahead and get a second job to pay for them. Maybe with your support, Sony will do a better job next time XD

the ps3 is the best system out there, it is worth the money, and 100 times better than the xbox 360. to play online for the 360, you have to pay, and that is just lame, ps3 has free online, and way better graphics. also unreal tournament 3 came out for ps3, and is still not out for 360

Some people will disagree with that statement, but the better games have online, and this holds you off until the new games come out. The wii does have several knockout titles (Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3), there aren't a whole lot. Mario Strikers online is fun, I guess. But the PS3 is far superior.
