25. Mario Paint (Nintendo/SNES)

A painting simulator on a top 25 list might seem odd, but we picked Mario Paint for a reason. Not only can you utilize a special SNES mouse controller to create art, but you can also partake in one of the greatest fly-swatting minigames ever created. Really, it's a deeper experience than you might expect from a painting game, as only Nintendo can deliver. We need a Wii version.

I mean Halo 1, Metal gear solid 2, Golden Eye, Duck Hunt, Gran Turismo, and Tony Hawk are all games that would define a system and genre should have made the list. Even Bioshock and Gears of War have possibilities that would completely undermine games that the majority of the gaming population has never played that made the list.

i like how just about everybody likes halo, but if someone doesnt like halo, than they hate it. If you dont like it, good for you, NOBODY cares. It should have definitely been on the list. No Rock band.... guitar hero> Rock Band. Soooooo many games that should have been replaced. This list sucks

Haha worst list ever. There were lots of games you could put here that would upset no one. Metal Gear Solid 1, for example, was PS1's most anticipated game, and far exceeded expectations. And you're telling me that "Super Puzzle Fighter" or whatever, is better? I think you just listed all your favorite games here, that's all. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for nostalgia (Never played Day of the Tentacle, but I can respect that choice), but Mario Paint isn't better than Conker's Bad Fur Day, Goldeneye, or Link to the Past. I could keep going on and on with games that are unequivocally among the best ever created. Have you ever heard of Final Fantasy 7?

Half Life 2 is awesome, but MGS4 is the best. Also, Halo should be up there along with Oblivion

This is *** 1st off halo is fun but it shouldnt be on the list, goldeneye should be thats wat shot off 1st person shooters. without goldeneye halo would be crap. final fantasy should be only because its lasted for so long. and mario paint LMBO that should be in the 25 WORST video games

No Final Fantasy 7, no Final Fantasy 11, no Gears of War, no Halo. These games made games what they are today. Take your little list and cram it where the sun don't shine. You've got a PHd in Phail.

No Goldeneye 64, Final Fantasy, Gears, Metal Gear Solid, Dance Dance, Elder Scrolls, Diablo, Doom, or even Frogger? Sorry, this list is a disappointment.
