25. Mario Paint (Nintendo/SNES)
A painting simulator on a top 25 list might seem odd, but we picked Mario Paint for a reason. Not only can you utilize a special SNES mouse controller to create art, but you can also partake in one of the greatest fly-swatting minigames ever created. Really, it's a deeper experience than you might expect from a painting game, as only Nintendo can deliver. We need a Wii version.

to mohoody, the guy who complained about hitting blocks with their heads, dont you realize that if someone hadnt thought to hit a block with their head, you woundnt be running around shooting everyone in halo or goldeneye. Technology and graphics dont mean anything if the gameplay is ****, which happens a lot more with current games than with the originals that paved the way for gameing. No offense to great games like halo, but anyone can think of games that shoot people. It takes creativity to think of a hedgehog speeding along grabbing rings and a plumber fighting a giant turtle with spikes.

This has to be the most asinine list ever, only a view games on this list are even WORTHY of the title you've bestowed upon them. Top 25 games my ass.
WOOOOO Super Puzzle fighter made the cut i could care less about anything else thats awesome i love that game i even bought the HD version on xboxlive
I agree that Super Metroid should be on there but there are plenty of other games that just didn't make the list. For example, Tetris Attack is one of the best games I played but I never see it mentioned. So is Zelda on SNES. In fact FF V should have had an honorable mention too, but I guess it really is a matter of opinion. Chrono Trigger made a lot of sense to be up there.

Final Fantasy VI was better than VII. Please actually play the game before you attack me over that =/ I've played and beaten both and VI had more memorable characters and a more interesting plot that was almost a commentary on the corruption and idiocy of the modern world. This list needs Metroid (super Metroid plz) and should probably have one of the Halo games on it. Not everyone can be pleased by the list though, obviously people who play WoW want it on top and people who play halo over CoD think Halo should be up there. We all are biased, including whoever wrote this (though they tried hard not to be).
well, this list is of the 25 best games OF ALL TIME (second emphasis on OF ALL TIME). you have to read the descriptions with the explanations, etc. this is not just PC games, which, by the way, are a lot younger than the ones on NES and Sega Genesis, for example. i have to agree on a lot of the games; they are classics. some of them i've never heard of, but that's okay; i'm not hatin'. however, i must agree with a lot of people about FFVII.
