We love Nintendo's portly plumber... and we love him not.

Live Forever: Nintendo keeps him young

No offense to Konami, but it screwed up making Solid Snake an old man. You don't take one of the industry's most iconic good guys and transform him into a grandpa. Mario succeeds largely because he gets younger with age. Over the course of his storied career, Nintendo trimmed some fat from his belly and gave him a more youthful face. The second he sports gray hair, we're out.

mario and luigi's games are best sellers at some places. Super Mario Galaxy for the wii is probably the best nintendo game

Mario obviously alive and well, thats why he sells well, thats why theres only 5 things against him (most of them not even serious point) and thats why Nintendo sticks with him
