Nintendo's iconic plumber rocked the '80s, survived the "Sonic's cooler" '90s and the violent game boom that followed, as designer Shigeru Miyamoto found new ways to reinvent his greatest creation. And with (New Super Mario Bros. Wii) arriving this fall and Super Mario Galaxy 2 in 2010, the mustachioed hero's future looks bright, right? We present 10 reasons why Mario will never lose his appeal and five reasons why the pasta muncher has eaten his last supper.

mario and luigi's games are best sellers at some places. Super Mario Galaxy for the wii is probably the best nintendo game

Mario obviously alive and well, thats why he sells well, thats why theres only 5 things against him (most of them not even serious point) and thats why Nintendo sticks with him
