First, you must earn him
Lucario is an Aura Pokemon, able to concentrate his power in super-charged bursts. To unlock him in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, simply win 100 matches or beat Target Smash (the stages with the bullseyes scattered across each stage) on all difficulty levels.

one thing i hated was about 95% of the characters you can unlock by beating SSE which i thought was dumb and btw lucario... not what i expected

Lucario's cool to be, and he's, in my opinion, the best Pokemon to be in the game (other than Pikachu, of course). i love his attacks and the whole aura thing, it kicks butt. ^_^
he's ok but i don't really use him much
no dude its zelda the first time then its link llike 5 times and hes like the upgraded samus who is still my favorite no wait i take that back my favorite is DK
I think it's one of those thing that you don't play in the game a lot.
Can't you unlock him in SSE? That's what I did. And what exactly was the point of this?
