Power Glove
Nearly two decades before the Wii remote, Mattel tried --and failed --to put virtual reality into living rooms with their cyborgian robo-hand. The problem was, it was crap, even though that Fred Savage movie The Wizard made it look like The Matrix come to life in the ''80s. And it required programming codes that weren't available on the Internet, because there was no Internet. Today, it makes a great Halloween accessory.

this is just so freaking awesome and funny. some of this, ok most of this, i never heard of before in anything major, but it's so funny to read. i mean this article could be complete BS, but i can't stop laughing at some of it.

i had power glove back in the dizaa and you know what i ****en loved it only thing i used it for was rad racer but it was still bad ass tool and i would still bust it out and play but my scenor reader got messed up so it kind of just bad ass fashion accessory now most people are pretty freaked out when they see you wearing it around
the avgn was right those things suck bad
ROB may have been bad during the NES era, but it makes a freakishly awesome Brawl character.
I was supposed to open for Powerglove... but the venue double booked our show. I'll give it 5 stars.

please,chrisaimman...i doubt R.O.B. could kill a frightened rabbit
The AVGN sure proved how pointless R.O.B. and the Power Glove were. Thank goodness modern technology allows wireless controllers to work a lot better.
