Perhaps we should accept that spore at the very least was created or sponsored by people who believe religion should be removed and replaced. It would also not be a stretch to suppose that spore was created to achieve the aforementioned goal. From what I have seen of this video game I am certain of my analysis. To verify my claims one only has too look at the overt symbolism present in the game, parted with the obvious fact that the game is based on a theory which if true would invalidate most religions. Those who follow the eye of ra and wait for the rising sun are of whom I write.

I don't get it... I'm a Christian and I don't care either way. It's a game. I don't even get why the other Christians are ticked off. Huh. Don't lump me in there with them concerning their outrage at an evolutionary game. I really don't care, lol, and I plan to get the game at some point. Looks awesome. ^^ And besides, it's not like it's making an argument for evolution. I mean, you find parts on the ground and stick them on you. And even the part about starting as a cell in a soup and then moving up doesn't make sense. Where did the soup and the cell come from? So yup. :D

Looks like a cool game... what's that? Creationism? Evolution? Never crossed my mind. It's a game. BTW I'm also a game designer [really.] and ideas like evolution and creationism are both cool ideas for a game... regardless of their beliefs. FOR EXAMPLE... there's a free game on the internet for download called "Sandbox of God" and I LOVE that game and I'm atheist. Stop arguing over something so pointless as a video game.

I happen to know some people who tend to bash on this type of matter and they give those who are Christian (and not fanatic) a bad name. It's just pathetic that they can't voice their anger on games like GTA or Mortal Kombat that somehow cause problems in some parts of the world. It's funny when you think about it, that video games are being an 'endangered species' because of this mess. I mean, sure I have some Rated 'M' games but they don't cause me to go hack someone's head off or other nonsense like that.

To all those who have a problem with a game that might, just might, be distorted into a message of ... what? Creativity? Progress? I have many friends who are Christian (the real kind, not the kind with a 'K' that feel it's their life's work to disrespect and trash everyone else's opinion while demanding that everyone respect and kowtow to theirs. The first thing I, and they, learned, was that if you have a viewpoint, state it clearly and concisely. This means growing familiar with trivial things like lower case letters, punctuation, and at least attempting to communicate in English. Your points, what there are of them, can be much more easily made if they are expressed in the form of coherent sentences. As for the game, I'll probably give it a try, if nothing else than to satisfy myself that once again the religious far right has its collective head up its collective tail.
