Um **** YOU UNREAL HATERS! Unreal Tournament Will Live Forever. And I bet you didnt even turn the blood and gore up to full resolution. Unreal Tournament not only helped me with my social skills, it helped me come out of my box and perform on stage. The characters of the people, not so good. The characters of the actual people playing the game, next best thing from politically correct. These games may take time up, but they do form character. Have a nice day. ~BaTy****
omg spider man game is rated m rofl its good and also i think they should pt all mario games on bad jk
don't even get me started on parents censoring what their child plays and watches...I was a video game fanatic from age 2 to 22 (now) and my parents were divorced so It was a constant duel between which games each parent would let me play when I was over at their house, and then which games I could play when I was over at my friends houses because THEIR parents weren't too uptight...one of my friends parents was so weird she made us turn off the fighting option is Wayne Gretzskys 3D Hockeyfor the Nintendo 64. Kids my age growing up in the 80's and 90's turned out normal because not only did we have mature video games to play but we had mature-ish CARTOONS to watch like Ren & Stimpy, nowadays kids are literally being pussified with stuff like Spongebob Squarepants and all the childish stuff that is forced down their throats.
Also- I've played every one of the ,"Bad" video games on there minus Cane and Lynch. I also know multiple ways to kill a man and or woman. I know how to build a crude pipe bomb. I could go off and kill 20 people, no problem, before I got taken out myself. Have I yet? No. Do I think about it seriously? No. Does it effect my school life? I'd say no, since I'm on high honors roll, as well as scholastic bowl. It may have helped me, in fact. I read an hour a day or so. I have read book like Stranger in a Strange land, and Eragon and Eldest, and Harry Potter. I have also read books like Jhereg and Issola and Yendi, which are in a series about a proffesional assassin. I have read the Amber novels. I have played games which depict the smashing to gelatin of thighs and ripping out of spines. Am I screwed up? No. Am I opinionated? Yes. Maybe everyone should play these games, read these books, watch these movies. Maybe they'll grow a spine.
Alright. Everyone stop right now. When we were all in caves, living as ,"God/Nature/The Lord/ Whoever the hell you want" intended, did the caveman parents make sure the caveman kids didn't see the gore? Did the cavemen have wars? If they did, I certainly never heard of them. Violence doesn't desensitize- Being trapped away from what you want to do enrages. Being forced to hold in that rage worsens it. Philosophical crap often worsens it. What happens when it gets too bad? The person with said rage goes off and kills someone. I'm not saying murder is good. I'm not saying ****, or battery, or other felonies are good. What I'm trying to say is that, often enough, censorship is what causes people to kill, and ****, and burglarize. Honestly- If someone says ****, or ****, or DAMN, what's the harm? Is someone being hurt? Does saying a word somehow make them less sensitive to crime? How does extremism help? As the saying goes,"All in moderation." It's not bad to keep people who can't tell the difference between real life and video games from playing them. It's not bad to kill murderers. It's not bad to imprison people for breaking laws, as long as the laws are legitimate. Alright. I'll stop now. I've rambled enough.
LMAO, they call those games bad? i'm surprised they didnt add gears of war.. and aggiesgirl, stop acting like your better then all of us. you act like your the king/queen of us all. you keep adding how video games and tv ruin ur mind. and stop talking about religion for god sakes were talking about video games, and speaking of video games, if you hate them so much, why are you even commenting..im serious just leave no one wants to hear ur "OMG I DO SPORTS AND I HAVE A PUNCHING BAG THAT I HIT EVERYDAY CUZ EVERYDAY I GO TO SCHOOL I GET BEAT UP CUZ I HAVE NO FREINDS."
You do realize that we realize games are games. I play all of those "bad" games, and get straight A's. I also know not to kill people like you do in the games, and I'm not addicted to them. Now get a life...
For every "bad" game you don't play, i'm going to play 4!
Wow Aggies. So here you are coming on a video game message board, saying luls u guys r dumb 4 playing video gamez try my religion try my religion TRY MY RELIGION PLEASEE!!!!!! CMON IT'L BE FUN!!!!! And then, you go on about how video games ruin your mind, and you could do something better like work out or punch a punching bag. You give a bad name to 13 year olds (like myself) everywhere. I love video games, they're one of my favorite things to do, and i finished 8th grade with high honors. I also go for a walk everyday, play basketball, and use the pool everyday. I am believe in God, but you dont see me out here forcing my belief on everyone else in this message board, telling them if they dont believe what I do they'll suffer forever. You have got to be one of the most immature,close-minded,ignorant teenagers i've ever met. Grow up. Back on topic, It really is dumb parenting and people who dont want to take responsibility so they blame a scapegoat for their child's actions. It's always been like this with the newer form of media in the newer generation, before it was rock n roll, now it's video games.
wow, just wait 'til the next vid game convention. I am so going.. just to b around ppl like ya'll. lol
