Blackthorne (SNES, 32X)
Finally, we have Blizzard's badass 16-bit hero, a shotgun-wielding lunatic who isn't afraid to lay waste to anything in his path. Blackthorne features splendid gameplay, letting you hide in the shows from incoming attacks and then jumping out to blast a creep in the face with some shotgun rounds. Better still, you can slaughter the innocents, putting them out of their misery after talking to them. Hey, they're better off.

and yes I'm aware it's retro rewind, as I'm sure someone will point out, doesn't make it less of a waste of time.
How come no matter how many top 10s I see on this site they always include the same 30 or so games over and over, most controversial, most violent, blah blah blah. Yeah I get it, here's an idea, news about new games not "no duh" stories about the same ones over and over? K thanx bai.
I have every game that was up there for super nentendo but i love those games
obviously you missed the 16 bit part
Obviously none of these people have played "Loaded" or "Re-Loaded" for the PS1. That games makes these all look like crap-fests.
I cant believe Smash TV was not on here. To this day i cant believe i am not messed up in the head from playing that game.
The origional GTA's were 8bit and 16bit games. I am actually surprised that i didn't see Bloody Roar up there (the origional bloody roar was a 16bit fighting game).
wow,you guys totally missed on "chiller"...maybe the most grotesque game of all time...and it was released in 1986!!
For those wondering about why GTA is not on here, read the title. It says "Top 10 Most Violent 16-Bit Games".
as usual, a dissapointment. Darkthrone? You considered that one of the most violent video games? Ever hear of Chiller? I'm kinda suprised GTA wasn't up on here.
