Mario (Super Mario Bros. franchise)
Mamma Mia! If Bowser doesn't sizzle his butt with a fireball, a simple goomba can ruin the plumber's day. One hit sends him to his doom, and when that happens, he leaps into the air, legs spread and arms outstretched, before falling off the screen.

What about getting slimed in Shadowgate? Sure, it wasn't graphic, but the game's description is hauntingly creepy. Or what about the original Final Fantasy's death scene? All the heroes expired on the ground as the "Slain" music plays. Good stuff. Though, I was happy to see Mega Man's on the list.
wow mario is a sick game but i hate his little vioce wen he dies
How can u not put the Rampage death? the monster shrinks and turning back in the naked human
I always thought Super Metroid had a unique death. She cringes in pain and a little alarm goes off as her suit literally explodes off of her, leaving her exposed to the harsh environments around her. I also like how in Prime, your screen literally just shuts off and Samus falls over. Let's not go there with how many times a medusa head killed me in the old Castlevania games either. Ugh. But in Rondo of Blood, if I'm not mistaken, there was a floating painting that, when it touched Richter, stole Richter's sole and put it on display on the painting, then the painting shattered into pieces (I'm not sure if this was just in the PSP remake or not). That was a cool death too. So many memories...
The Doom Guy has a pretty awesome death.
Resident Evil has so many awesome death scenes. in RE2 poor Leon (or Claire) would get absolutely shredded by that four armed freak William Birken.
the mario and sonic ones both on there were pointless amde by same company well not the same company but i meant some of the developers are the same they shouldv had sora from kingdom hearts tho lol
Oh the humanity! I always wondered what happened to Q-bert. He just fell into oblivion.
Tekkennnnn. Love Tekken. Oh my god looking back at these screen shots make me remember when I was six or so and sitting on the floor playing my Sega Genesis. Then of course the PS1 when it came out as well. Crash Bandicoot used to be my life. I'm a huge, way too big of a Zelda fan though.
Would have loved to snag Crash, but I wasn't able to take pics of the games.
