Retro Rewind: Chrono Trigger

Chrono Trigger

Square Enix's SNES classic Chrono Trigger debuted in 1995, arriving first in Japan and coming out months later in the U.S. Even more than a decade later, this delightful role-playing game remains one of the best adventures in gaming, as well as one of the most sought after cartridges.

Don't you dare put Enix in the name. This is a Squaresoft game, the real deal, not that Enix bull****.

Chrono Trigger...so many things this game had that many RPGs didn't have..case in point, multiple endings. I have never played a game that ever had that and it blew my mind after playing. I bought the remake and man..no other RPGs could ever top it to this day...

I STILL play this game. I would not let go of my SNES copy for anything. And the Brink of Time CD is on constant rotation on either my CD player or my ipod. :) Secret of the Forrest is the best track.

My name is Gato, I have metal joints, beat me up and earn 15 silver points. XOXO. I still love this game after all these years ^^

I love this game. It easily is one of the best games ever made. So many endings based on how you play it. I have it on my Playstation, PC emulator & two cartridges (which one is MIB) ^_^ If you've never played it but get the chance to...do it.

No mention of the fan-based attempt to transfer the game into 3-D (which was of course met with a cease and desist order from Square-Enix)?
