Mario starts out small on the 2600

"I got into the plumbing biz around 1983. After graduating high school I didn't really know what I wanted to do, so my uncle Vito knew a guy in the Union and I then found myself knee-deep in sewage and jumping over lobsters and turtles."

Link is awesome! And this whole article is pretty much pointless. I didn't even find it that amusing. It looks more like some idiot's way of occupying their time by dissing a video game icon. Bottom line, this article is a waste of time, and I'm sure a lot more people agree with me, right?

Heres the real story for those of you that care. Orginally mario was jumper man in Donkey Kong, he was suppose to be animated with a mouth but with the pixels it look rather odd. What ended up happening was they gave him a Moustache which looked much better. So the big story behind the Moustache was... MAKING A MOUTH LOOKED ODD SO THEY GAVE HIM A MOUSTACHE... end story.
