God, religion and faith has alway been controversy. I see there is alot of people on here going to extremes on BOTH sides (believers vs. non believers). I think if people werent so wrapped up in religion, trying to prove who God is, trying to dictate WHO He is, trying to ASSUME what He is...there might be no need for angry temper tantrums. Instead of BICKERING at eachother, why dont you just ASK Him WHO Hes is, WHAT He is, if He's real or not and blah blah blah. Stop being too lazy to search out the truth for yourselves. Stop being too lazy to read the Bible WITH AN OPEN MIND!!!! Too many people have NO clue what TRUTH is! You can buy a STRONGS CONCORDANANCE to take EACH WORD in the Bible back to its ORIGINAL MEANING! There are ALOT of words in the Bible that have been MIS TRANSLATED! haha, if religion is so great, and teaches Jesus' lesson of "Turn the Other Cheek," why is there war? Why do people with "I Love Jesus" on their bumpers cut people off and take part in "road rage," much less curse and try and spread their own personal message of righteousness on the internet? Why do priests have sex with children? Why do the wives of priests kill their husbands? Porn isn't to blame, just like religion, video games, or the media aren't. It's a matter of laziness. That's why parents let schools teach their children about sex, then get angry when something goes wrong with their child. If Jesus was so kind and forgiving, why do religious zealots work so hard to spread messages of hate, anger, and bitterness, as well as theories of immorality? Everyone has their own person view of what is immoral, and trying to convince someone that what they are doing is immoral is usually a losing battle. The fact of the matter is that YOU CAN ONLY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURSELF, and your children if they are still under 18. I doubt Jesus would be very impressed with the state of religion today. Nevermind the fact that it's based on archaic rules that don't really hold much weight anymore, another reason many people are leaving the Church. I guess that's what happens when men write a book pretending to be the voice of God. Funny how people forget that the Church has continually tried to trample the rights of minorities, including women, Jews and Muslims for hundreds of years.
