Are these games racist?
Blaming video games for sexism, drug use and violence is sport for non-gaming politicians. But are there video games that promote racism? Various groups have called out the following six games as "racist." Are they? You decide.

I congratulate you on finding your black race version of Mayberry, but you must admit that if black men took more responsibility for their own children, and their own lives for that matter, the black communities around the country would greatly benefit.” I appreciate your congrats on me finding my Black version of “Mayberry”. Personally, I wouldn’t call it Mayberry for Mayberry is the White definition of a “safe” community. I would simply call my community a “livable” community (LOL)—That’s all… As far as Black men taking initiative in building their communities--- I agree. Black men must assume responsibility for their community.
I get tired of hearing that video games promote violence and racism because thats B.S.!! Violence and racism has been going on before the middle ages and if they want to blame video games, they are full of stupidity!! Violence and racism is never going to stop regardless if they ban video games! So just shutup and concern yourself with real causes like gas prices!! See its idiots like these who cant tell the difference between reality and virtuality! I'm sure everyone here agrees with me.
I prefer playing games. I found more great games on the celebs club‘MarryMillionaire DOTcom’ . They are much more interesting with beauty, wealthy guys and hot girls.
bigkeithb123 on 3/10/2008 11:47 pm Why do you people seem to think all Blacks are the same? All Black neighborhoods are the same and all Blacks act the same. You watch too much TV or you haven’t been exposed to other cities within this country. I’m Black and I live in a predominately Black county in a predominately Black neighborhood that has never looked like, felt like or sounded like a war zone. Well, bigkeithb123 I've traveled around the world 7 times, and have been to almost every state in this country. I've visited hundreds of cities around the nation on business trips over the years. I can tell you with statistical fact that "most" predominately black communities suffer from the same type of terminal urban cancer. I congratulate you on finding your black race version of Mayberry, but you must admit that if black men took more responsibility for their own children, and their own lives for that matter, the black communities around the country would greatly benefit.
kw5131966---------- i can see your point but i dont think they would bash vidoe games as being racist to pull a fast one on us........ maybe they would get everyone fighting and stir up trouble so the politicians can choose sides and gain electorial votes..........or lose them! well i doubt that is the issue here but i might agree with you a little.
bigkeithb123 ---------everyone knows there are people of all races in gangs but you should check it out better before making a remark like that because even the african american official in office knows this.they also know that there is a far greater number of minorities in gangs then none minorities. thats why there are many youth clubs and groups around inner city and suburban areas in almost every major city.....and they also know that a vast majority of these minority gang members are young african americans from 14 to 24 years old. yea just to be sure i looked it up. wouldnt want to stick my foot in my mouth you know.
i see the "Blaming video games for sexism, drug use and violence is sport for non-gaming politicians" have done a great job of stiring up the race thing AGAIN, come on people use your brains, THEY, the "politicians" get everyone pointing fingers at the race thing and pull some sneeky **** while you fighting over this. so what are they trying to sneek by YOU and US now?
are any of you actually old enough to vote?

littledavid1978 on 3/10/2008 5:52 pm--- “besides GTA is a game based on life in gangs and well face it there may be people from all races in gangs but they are mostly black or hispanic in more recent years.” ----- Now, that’s BULL ****! There are many White gangs out here too. Don’t get **** confused just because you don’t here much about them. You have the KKK, the Arian Brotherhood, Neo-Nazi’s, the Mob, etc.
