Haha... MGS cutscenes can be too long sometimes but then there's a lot of plot devices to explain and enhanced. It's a different style of game development and a welcome change from the usual gung ho, less than 3 syllable sentences in those space marine shooters. Japanese simply like to tell their stories in a leisurely, unrushed way which is also why their stories are almost always more intricate and exquisite. Sure they need to improve on the delivery sometimes but hey if you looking for a different gaming experience, it is better this way. And I cooked ramen on one of these cutscenes haha.

these metal gear games and GTA games get 10's automatically from every magazine and website just for the name alone...when in reality these games are not 10's it's overrated...they gave metal gear 2 (which one of the biggest diasters in video game history) a 10. What? GTA San Andreas a 10? Huh? (while San Andreas is a good game it is not a 10) The metal gear games always had long cutscenes, and if half the of MGS4 is cutscenes....that's robbery. This franchise hit the crapper after 2 was released and it hasn' t bounced back since...(yeah MSG 2 sold five million because people thought they were getting something else...F'n Raiden Bullsi**t).just leave the video games to Americans who know what their doing and have dominated the market for the better part of the decade.

Metal Gear Solids is the worst game ever. Your better of spending your time playing sudoka. If you play this game and have complaints the scenes in all this bull. DON'T PLAY IT. If you enjoy playing this game you will turn out to be a great father like Chris Benoit.

I completely agree with the review. Cutscenes are long, though most people don't have the patience for them. I do. Those die-hard fans need a life first of all. Move out of your mom's basement, find a steady girlfriend, and get on with your life instead of declaring your hate over someone's review of the game's cutscenes.

All of these people are freaking out and crying and wishing death upon Buffa for something like this. Having sex is great way to pass the time during a cut scene, but MGS4 storyline wont talk back to you and say how come you like to play that game too much instead of holding me!

As other people have said, this is just an article to get back at the hate emails about the 8/10 score. But you know what? 8'/10 IS a ridiculous score. Long cutscenes or not, this is a perfect sequel that improved on EVERYTHING. Gameplay, graphics, and storytelling. And IMO video games would be in better shape as a medium if the current game developers just put HALF of the amount of effort Kojima Productions put into MGS4. Games should be just like the MGS series, great gameplay AND story, not just randomly shooting aliens for no reason. It makes video games look ignorant and worthless.

just read the reviews even funnier to watch. BTW you guys do realize this is a joke. he might like them (proably dosn't but who knows) any ways. The reason he made this (or at least this is what i think could be wrong) is not because he hates the games he does know how to skip through them. but just to have a little fun and to create some humor. ps. I will proably get people responding to me saying wtf your an idiot or something but this website gets so many reviews a day i won't be able to find mine and then find the ones near it saying it.
