Mario had a humble beginning, wearing his trademark overalls and designed with his schnozz and mustache fully intact. He did have a larger stomach, but it didn't get in the way of jumping over girders and smashing barrels with a hammer.

since graphics have advanced so much, its left me with one question: can they make it any better? i mean so far they have suprised me by getting better and better, but there hasnt been a big jump in graphics since the 16-bit days. will they just keep making the same graphics better? or step it up a notch with somthing that looks better, but isnt really the same.
