The latest in EA Sports' football dynasty won't fly over with everybody. Here are 10 that won't even touch it.

Your mom

Your mother worries about you enough as it is, calling you to see if you're wearing clean underwear and making you meatloaf whenever she gets a chance. Imagine how freaked out she would be if she couldn't get a hold of you for several days because you were elbows-deep playing Superstar Mode. She'd hate that. So don't expect her to pick up your copy of Madden for you, sport.

i play football and world of warcraft. in fact my entire team plays world of warcraft. football is fun, but not playing doesnt make you whimpy or a nerd.

Don't have a gaming system yet - too busy with work, school, etc. When I do get one, it will probably be an Xbox 360 and Madden is probably the first game I will get for it, as I've been an NFL fan for a long time. Sometimes waiting isn't always a bad thing

i actualy play football unlik half of u ppl. dont leave a bad comment because u dont lik football. just leave. go play ur whimpy world of warcraft and runescape and leave these ppl alone. no1 liks to read bad comments. unless there funny :)

Im sure if the editor played (Madden) against the Ping Pong team they would destroy him just on the grounds that they are asian. Plus I would believe they play all video games because they are asian.

@ Aragon: I don't like football. But I do like rugby, lacrosse (indoor & outdoor) and the Gaelic games (Gaelic rules football and hurling). I'm also a fireman, so I don't think I qualify as a whimp. I think you should broaden your experience before you call all non-football fans whimps. And really. Who calls people whimps? What are you, Popeye?

I'm with Kiwisoup. We could broaden that category to "People with Common Sense". I've never played any Madden and don't plan on it anytime soon. It LOOKS as if they update the roster and the graphics and add some new gameplay mechanic. Whether it's good or bad, I don't know. But paying full price for upgraded minor details is shameful. Plus, I'm in the category "People Who Don't Like Sports Games". They're not my style. It IS just a joke, but it's a bad one.

Meh, some of it's true, the amish most likely will not buy it. Though My mother would, and my friend who is a typical "geek" (member of the chess club...ect.) plays it.

Thats a lie some Amish probably will buy Madden 09 im from PA and they lie, they can have TV's, electricity, lights, you name it. Just not in their house but its ok in their barn. explain that, and they can ride in cars they just can't drive them, they drive the steel wheeled buggies which ruin the roads, and yes believe it or not they don't pay ANY road taxes. Some religion huh?
