What about the snow levels from Donkey Kong Country? Where the blizzard gets stronger and stronger as the level goes on?

Solid snake having a sniper battle with Sniper Wolf is one of the greatest moments ever...easily should have been number one...also someone already mentioned the snow boarding on FFVII was cool...at least should've been somewhere on this list

Banjo kazooie was the *******, also kirbys dreamland 2 had an awesome snow stage you could literally turn your enemies into ice after swallowing some one with freezing abilities. then there's Morrowind island of Solsthiem what's better then slaying a pack or wolves or a polar bear and making a suit out of its or fighting naked nords in a blizzard. The xmen clone wars (sega) the first stage was a cool snow stage with full blizzard effects and a nice game beat. vigilante 8 cars, napalm automatic weapons and snow nuff said

Aww, no Freezeezy Peak from Banjo-Kazooie? That was one of my favorite videogame stages, and it also has one of the catchiest background themes.
